Spring Collection

What time and effort this donor put into this collection!  It reminds me of how God spends time on each baby He makes.  He doesn't rush it.
He fearfully and wonderfully forms a baby to be uniquely beautiful over the weeks and months in the womb.

Thank you so much!!

So, what's next?

You may be wondering what will happen once the collection is over...

Although God has put this project on my heart, I don't know exactly where He will take it.  The oPIN your eyes Prayer Team is praying about how to make a public display of these pins, so that it will be available for people to go and see a visual representation
of what our country has done.

My favorite idea is to have a large (adult height) baby bottle that would stand filled with the pins as a representation of the lives lost throughout the past
45 years of legalized abortion in our country.
What ideas do you have?  Leave your ideas in the comment box below.

March 6, 2017

Think about it...

9 months - average length of a pregnancy

9 months - duration of this project

45 years - will be completed on January 22, 2018, marking the anniversary of legalized abortion in the USA.

600,000 pins - collection goal (1 pin=100 lives)

60,000,000 lives - nearly 60,000,000 babies have been lost!

I cannot raise this awareness alone.
I need your help: pray, share with people, and participate by collecting pins.

Will you please join me in an effort to oPIN
the eyes of our country to this massive slaughter?

The story behind "oPIN your eyes"...

In January 2017, I read an article by Marvin Olasky entitled, "Incapable of Shame?" found in WORLD magazine that contrasted the Holocaust and abortion. The article really touched my heart as it relayed a story of a man who, upon arriving at a concentration camp, said goodbye to his children.  Being reassured by the guard that his children would be taken care of, he never imagined that his children were being taken to gas chambers.  After the Holocaust, he mourned the fact that he didn't even have a picture of them.  The article went on to talk about abortion and that we do have pictures. We know exactly what these precious babies look like before and after abortion.  Yet what do we do? We close our eyes to this horrific mass murder.

God brought to my mind an impressive Paper Clips Project display...
